The original topic for today was: "Day 9: Write a story about yourself from the perspective of an object, thing, animal, or another person." but I decided to use a "plug in" entry of What is one place you are wanting to travel to?
I have not been a religious sort of person on a regular basis for some time. I consider myself to dabble with being Pagan. That said, I don't have a clear path that I follow or have set my studies and practices on, so I leave it at that. I do have this odd feeling of being connected to Greek Mythology, however.
I have been interested and would really love to learn more about Hellenisitc practices, but resources are not that readily available, and there's only so much of the generic online bits you can take in. Ever since I can remember knowing about the constellation Orion, I have been drawn to Greek Mythology and culture. I would always look for it in the night sky, and once found, I would feel that no harm would befall me that night. On times where it was not available to see, I would feel anxious. I still do this today.
I also am an avid believer in the mystical properties of gemstones and base many of my jewelery designs off of Greek Mythology and use authentic, quality gemstones that have been personally cleansed by myself. I did own my own business (Celestial Achelois) for a number of months when I lived overseas but had to stop because it was too difficult alone while I was away. I do still make things for my Etsy, but I've left all of my things back in Michigan while I relocate to Washington. I hope I will be able to pick it up again soon!

So, with all of that being explained, sorta, I would LOVE to get the opportunity to visit Greece and go around to all of the old temples. I did live in the UK for 4 years, but because of my job, I wasn't able to get the time to travel. :(
